1. Expansion Work Completion
Since their integration into the Top Clean Packaging group in September 2022, ETS GILBERT has continued to develop and has reached a decisive new stage in 2024. The group subsidiary, specialized in the design and production of high-precision tooling, has completed the expansion of its infrastructure with an additional 300m² dedicated to new social areas and offices. This project has enabled not only a reorganization of the production workshops but also the consolidation of all the group’s mechanical teams at one site.
2. Strategic Consolidation of Mechanical Teams for a New Organization
Following this expansion, a strategic reorganization of several activities has been implemented. The plastic injection activity, previously located at ETS GILBERT, was transferred to our subsidiary Top Clean Injection, which specializes in that field. At the same time, several presses were added to the group's Research & Innovation hub, increasing its testing and experimentation capacity.
This dual transfer enabled a comprehensive and structuring reorganization within the group. In line with this optimization approach, the design and manufacturing activities of thermoforming and sealing tools, previously carried out at Cartolux-Thiers, are now centralized at the ETS GILBERT site.
Beyond simple relocation, these initiatives are part of our goals as a group to lead by dynamics of consolidation and excellence. By bringing together all our mechanical equipment and expertise on a single site, we promote stronger synergies between teams, enhance collaboration, and facilitate mutual skill development. This centralization also serves as a powerful lever to further improve the quality and performance of the tooling delivered to our clients, ensuring increasingly high standards.
3. Mastery of Complex Tooling at the Core of Top Clean Packaging’s Integrated Offer
ETS GILBERT plays a strategic role at the heart of the group’s comprehensive offer, acting as the Tooling Center of Excellence. Their advanced know-how in designing and manufacturing high-tech tooling enables the group to offer a fully integrated solution to clients in the medical and pharmaceutical sectors.
Specialized in complex molds for the production of small and medium-sized parts, ETS GILBERT is involved from the earliest stages of product development. Their expertise encompasses multi-cavity molds, technical molds, and overmolding applications, all with a high level of precision, repeatability, and durability.
By integrating this expertise internally, Top Clean Packaging strengthens its ability to manage the entire value chain—from product design to cleanroom production, including the design and manufacture of tooling. This synergy helps secure even the most complex projects, reduce development timelines, and ensure optimal alignment between tooling, processes, and regulatory requirements specific to the medical field.
