The Chevalerias Establishments were a personal business created in 1927 by Jean Chevalerias, the great great grandfather of Jean Berry, the current President of the Group.
At that time, they mainly produced boxes for hand shavers.
To respond the needs of its customers, the strategic positioning of the company was already established: design based on the customer's specifications, realization with high technical requirements and additional services to achieve a finished product of high quality.
The arrival of the electric razor led the company into the production of cheese boxes and cardboard tubes, technical parts for weapons and cardboard tubes for more than 20 years.
On October 1st, 1973, while working more and more in the cutlery field, the company became S.A. Cartolux-Thiers (SAS in 2003).
In 1977, Cartolux-Thiers had a 2,200 m² factory built. The customers are mainly cutlers, perfumers, and arms factories.
A thermoforming department is added to the cardboard activity, mainly to produce flocked plastic trestles for cutlery boxes.
In the 1988's, the factory was expanded again, reaching a surface of 3.000 m².
Cartolux-Thiers is oriented towards contract manufacturing.
New products appear and the thermoforming activity takes the lead over cardboard.
The company is turning towards new markets such as the medical industry requiring clean room production.
Specialized in the recycling and shredding of plastic waste.
Top Recycling has a surface of 1200 m², treating every year several hundreds of tons of French and European industrial waste.
Subsidiary specialized in clean room medical devices development and manufacturing as well as plastic injection of high-precision thermoplastic parts for the medical and pharmaceutical industries.
Subsidiary based in Suzhou, China, specialized in medical devices development and manufacturing and thermoforming for the Asian market.
To federate and organize the activities of the different subsidiaries under a common banner, the TOP CLEAN PACKAGING GROUP was created.
Top Tech Silicone, based in Galliate, Italy, a company with a strong accumulated experience in the fields of LSR tools production and processing.
A sales department is opened in India.
